To Make You Feel My Love

During a season when one of my kiddos had frequent speech therapy and OT, I would drop her off and sit in the car and do my Bible study while I waited. One day I was so tired that I decided to run get a coffee while I waited. I knew this would mean much less time in the Word but I was so tired I felt it was my only hope. I pulled up to the coffee shop and held the door for the person behind me to walk through. I stood in line to hear the person order coffee for what sounded like an entire office suite. I figured I could kiss my Bible time goodbye. I ordered my coffee and sat in a fluffy chair tired, discouraged, tired, needing a little time with the LORD and not expecting to get it. Then I heard him say "listen". So I did. It was this song playing overhead. I could here him singing it and I could see these pictures of his suffering and dying so clearly. When we want to hear, He WANTS to speak.
